LoadTraining Information

David G Dwinell’s 1983 business plan called for the creation of an information dissemination process to support transportation brokering . The business was Carrier Information Exchange (CIE ) a wholly owned arm of QT Investments, Inc.  A directory of motor carriers, their equipment types, and phones with WATs was the first effort to disseminate information for brokers. The first “BACKHAULER DIRECTORY was born and was updated and published quarterly. The word Backhauler was trademarked in the name Backhauler Directory. The Directory and its format of motor carrier compilation was copyrighted. Thousands of the Directory were sold up to 1999. It was given free to class participants to aid in their brokering start up.

In 2003, The Directory, the name CIE , a brokerage of the same name , The logo and the successful selling website www.backhauler.com were sold to Don Oren of Dart Advantage, Eagan, MN.  The school name remained in the ownership of QT Investments, Inc and the name was changed from CIE to loadtraining.com as Dart Advantage wanted nothing to do with the school except to recruit graduates for brokering Agency.

CIE began teaching entrepreneurs in 1987 after the publication and copywriting of the 2 main text books, Brokerage Operations Manual, and the Guide to Understanding Brokering. Our first School Graduate - Master Broker Mr. Al Lindeman graduated Sept 1987 in New Berlin, WI. CIE moved to Arizona 1999 . Attendance has risen every year since thanks to multiple classified Ads.

Loadtraining.com (formerly CIE), is a Professional Development Program designed for truckers and brokers to succeed their businesses. Mr Dwinell created the industry of training in 1987, and until 1999, there were no competitors. The need for this training program follows the “fragmentation” in the surface transportation industry which continues to day. As people find out that Owner Operation is dying out because it is no longer economically viable operation (the cost of fuel per mile, now exceeds the driver per mile pay) they abandon the practice in favor of FMCSA motor carrier Authority and the ever crucial DOT number to grow financially. Loadtraining.com has been training transportation and supply chain personnel, and entrepreneurs, with an ever expanding information service inclusive of all current and accurate information about brokering and trucking. Loadtraining.com the service has operated for 5 Years under Arizona Vocational Training License from the Board of Private Post Secondary Education (License Title -Broker Office Training – License V1064), without one complaint.

David G. Dwinell

Loadtraining.com is the brainchild of Mr Dwinell. He has achieved a certain level of expertise through years of training others and is recognized sufficiently to be invited by the American Trucking Association to address their Loss and Prevention Council in Orlando FL May 2007. He has written numerous authoritative articles on transportation processes and events. Participants in his Professional development programs both Home Study (loadschool.com) and his classroom Hands ON (loadtraining.com) experience are benefited beyond measure. At the end of each training session, participants complete a Report Card with comments outlined how Class improved their transportation skills and confidence.  99% of these “report cards” rank David’s teaching performance 7 or 6 out a possible 7. We have designed our teaching program to create the same participant satisfaction in your teaching program.

Today, Loadtraining.com seeks skilled and patient trainers, who can subscribe and proliferate the skills for transportation success that have satisfied over 15,000 graduated Master Brokers since 1987. Expanding loadtraining.com to every major city by franchise is authorized and supported by David and his company QT Investments, Inc.

Loadtraining.com represents all of the accumulated knowledge gained from working with thousands of students, their business plans, and their successes and failures.  This historical accumulation is a rich collection to instruct, lead, exemplify, all of the trial and error pitfalls that most participants will experience in their start-up business. A small investment in learning will save many “hundred thousand dollar mistakes”.

Sincerely,

Bette B Dwinell,
President
